DALLAS November 13, 2012 -- Borchardt's Gas Grill Repair & Cleaning has been selected for the 2012 Dallas Award in the Handyman Service Contractors category by the Dallas Award Program.

We had moved into a home with a high-end DCS built-in stainless grill, which was in an overall state of disrepair (broken igniters, burners not connecting, etc.) and was simply not functioning. Given the high original cost of the grill (several thousand dollars) I dreaded calling a “Licensed DCS Technician,” as reviews of same on the web were universally poor, from both a performance, as well as cost standpoint. Instead, I elected to go with Jonathan Borchardt, who appeared to have the kind of background (both extensive and diverse) to potentially solve any grill problem. Well, let’s just say that in this world of “Service” disappointments and surprises, Jonathan is a true throwback. He showed up precisely on time (rare!) and not only repaired the grill (which now performs as-new) but cleaned it to a steak-ready condition (Filets were sizzling within an hour of his departure.) But the icing on the cake was the bill, which was well within reason…so much so that one should not hesitate to call Jonathan for repairs to “any” category of grill (I would have paid the same to have my old Weber put back into service.) I give him my highest recommendation.
